Pine View Pontiac Buick GMC was established in 1970 by owner Dom Romeo on the corner of Kipling Ave and Hwy 7. By 1975, Pine View had moved to their new state-of-the-art facility at Hwy 7 and Weston Rd. Over the years Pine View has become a family business with Dom's eldest son Frank operating Pine View Hyundai as President and GM and youngest son Mark operating Airport Nissan in Brampton as GM. In the spring of 2009 General Motors went through corporate restructuring and the Pontiac Motor Division was closed and 240 Canadian Pontiac Dealers were eliminated including Pine View. Frank quickly transitioned to an independent auto dealer until the right opportunity came along. That opportunity came in the fall of 2010 and on November 1 he opened the doors to the new Pine View Hyundai.
